The Neurological Rehabilitation Group aims to provide an outstanding neurological physiotherapy service.

People attending our clinic can expect to have individual attention from skilled therapists dedicated to supporting each person in achieving their goals. We commonly treat people with stroke, acquired brain injury (ABI), cerebral palsy, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries and vestibular disorders, but over the 20+ years of our practice, we have helped people with many other conditions. We are more than happy to speak with you at any time.

We develop our therapists through a strong clinical supervision program, providing clinically oriented inservice programs and subsidising professional development, to ensure best possible care is available from each of our therapists. Test

Equipment Focus

Each month we draw your attention to equipment we have found especially useful.

This month: One Way Glide sheets. Particularly useful to assist in moving a person in one direction and preventing slipping back – for instance, transferring into a car with a slide board, moving a person back in a wheelchair who tends to slip forward. Contact us for more information.

Specialised Rooms

Our well-equipped rooms in Mount Waverley enable the provision of tailored programs throughout your rehabilitation. Equipment available includes full weight support walking harness, ceiling hoist, treadmill, rails, wide adjustable plinths and gym equipment.

Of course, we have full disabled access, off street parking, and disabled toilet facilities.

Professional Help

Many patients are referred by their doctor or another health practitioner, but you do not need a referral to attend our practice.

In addition to our rooms consultations we provide a visiting service to the eastern side of Melbourne from the CBD. Please enquire if you are outside this area. We work closely with other allied health professionals (Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Neuropsychologists, etc). We can help you find the right person.
